This year Utilitas will carry out the reconstruction of the district heating boiler house and chimney at Masina 18, Tallinn.
Some works, especially the cleaning of the reinforced concrete chimney before painting, can cause significant noise that can reach beyond the construction area.
Noisy works are planned for the period of April 11, 2022, to June 10, 2022.
To minimize the disturbance of the residents in the surrounding area, the cleaning of the chimney will not start before 8:00 am on weekdays and will end no later than 7:00 pm. On weekends, the work shall be performed from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
These works are necessary to secure the supply of the district heating service. At the same time, the chimney will get a fresh look to make our urban space more modern.
